Ming

In this vase, decorative elements originating in Chinese traditional craft, have been reinterpreted using LED technology. Reflecting the change in aesthetic values throughout time, and questioning the role of the craftsman in a future industrialised world. 58 lights were used to create a random pattern which ends up as the word MING thus ironically announcing itself as the real thing.
